How does Venice look at night? This is Venice seen in black and white in the late evening. As you can see, most of the gondolas and boats have stopped running. However, the Venetian streets are safe, and you can explore the labyrinth of alleys by foot instead. The day-trip tourists have left and the streets are either empty or with just a few people enjoying the city in its calm and peaceful state. There is a certain romance in the air when you stroll along the beautiful canals lit by the soft glow of lights from the streetlamps. It is a different kind of Venetian charm. As a photo artist, I choose to use monochrome to express the tranquil mood and mystic atmosphere.
