Description
Dingboche is a Sherpa village along the hiking trail to Mount Everest Base Camp. It is also a popular stop for trekkers and climbers to Ama Dablam or Imja Tse. Most people would spend at least two nights here for acclimatization. A half-day hike up Nagartsang Hill (which is just above the village) and back is ideal for preparing our bodies for higher altitude. At 5200m, it is a spectacular place to soak in the views of numerous snow peaks in the Khumbu region of Nepal. However, pictures like this one are rare because people are either saving the camera/phone battery juice for the next few days or they are too busy taking selfies!
